Guyz,
There is a thought that has always disturbed me and I have never been able to find a satisfactory answer to it. I will like to throw this question to dear canadiandesis. Also, I mean no offence here and dont want to hurt anyone's feelings.......
Why is it that every prophet, guru, bhagwaan has preached respect for other religions but at the same time has created a new religion. Considering the fact that they were gods ( or messenger of god) didnt they foresee that religion could be so easily used as a dividing factor between people. I am a firm believer of god but dont understand the concept of religion which, historically, has been the number one cause of distress to mankind. More people die in the name of religion than of anything else.
As I said guyz, I dont mean to hurt anyones feelings. If the moderator thinks this thread is offensive, I would request him to delete it......

Insaan ke jism ke andar bahut sari indriyan hoti hai....every human act is a chemistry of all these INDRIYANS. Each INDRI has a role to play. When Adam and EVE came, did they come with a checklist, that when they are hungry they have to eat, thirsty they have to drink? I always think this, that When ADAM must have got hungry for the first time, his mind must have told him something internally, his eyes must have seen here and there and his hands must have helped him to pick an apple from the tree and thus he must have eaten up the apple.

So that was the most basic foundation of creativity and from there on it is ON and ON and ON. We MULTIPLIED first of all and became so many , then we CLASSIFIED ourselves in colour and regions and languages etc. and then finally, we DEVIDED ourselves by religion.

Its all done by us. But we will have to remember "THERE IS ONE COMMON FLOW IN ALL THE BODIES, i.e. BLOOD"..and I believe in that "WE ARE ONE DUE TO THAT".

Nice reply mercury and pretty logical, fear definately is the root cause of concept of prayer, god and maybe religion too .......
but Fear might have created the first religion, but what is it that has stopped us from continuing under one global religion. What were the people afraid of that caused the inception of one religion after another.
Is it really fear or complete misunderstanding of religion on the part of human brains.
