I missed watching Hollywood movies for quite a while.Can you suggest some good movies like Hangover,my best friends wedding etc.

IMO, for a person whose definition of good movies include "Hangover" or "My Best Friend's wedding" might not find many interesting movie in IMDB's top 250 list.

What genre of movies do you like to watch?
If you like the silly comedy of Hangover, Watch 'bridesmaides" its much funnier than hangover (my hubby thought so too!) and better made.
Meghal: I like silly mindless comedies however I dont feel this defines me as an intellectual lightweight. If you have a very challenging life/career/course of studies its nice to turn your brain off once in a while!!

Taste in movies is very subjective and individual. To each his/her own.
The top 250 list does not contain any mindless comedies and hence my comment. Even I have burnt my fingers (and pocket) watching movies like "Mulholland Drive","Donnie Darko" or "Being John Malkovich" from the top 250 list.
Somehow there goes a popular notion esp. in Bollywood, that mindless comedy = good movie or good movie = mindless comedy.
Comedy can be intelligent and still be funny. e.g. TV shows like "Seinfeld" or "Frasier" or "The Big Bang Theory".
BTW, if vulgar or offensive language is not an issue, than I might suggest "South Park - Bigger, Longer, Uncut" as a mindless comedy.

Some recent Hollywood Movies I enjoyed were Limitless and Source Code. Unknown was OK. I always look to Hollywood movies for new and original concepts.
Some recent good Bollywood movies were Chalo Dilli (the concept was probably lifted from Due Date) and Shor in the City. I loved Shor in the City and am glad to see such movies being made.
