Febpreet, do you have to pair your devices (phone/tablet/laptop) each time you use youtube using your netgear media player? I am using PS3 for watching youtube but pairing each time is harrasment.
Plus, eventhough I believe I have better bandwidth, video keeps pausing every 2 min. so had to gave up this idea.

Yes, I have to pair up my phone. It's a pain, but I am fine with it. Just a matter of rolling over my couch and slide a few fingers .

I got Jadoo last month, bit expensive in terms of capital costs but has an extensive library of channels and stored media. No running costs. I have unlimited internet bandwidth.

Could you please share as to how many & which Hindi channels do you get on Jaadoo ?? Last I heard , due to being sued by companies they had reduced the number of channels ...

Do you get Sony & Aaaj Tak and the like ..... How s the picture quality -do you have to strain your eyes ?? ...


Yesterday I was talking to this friend of mine who has got a dish installed and is using a Dreambox receiver along with $15/mo fee .. I believe this is what mrpandya meant .... if this is an un discussable thing for legality purpose , please do not add any info to it ...

Still in the process of finalizing ... Will have to switch to unlimited internet if decide to go with the streaming player OR Jaadoo option ...

There are like 60 Hindi Channels in Jadoo 3, cannot list them all. It has Sony Ent. on streaming. I didn't find Aaj Tak. Keep in mind you have to have a good internet connection, preferably 10Mbps download speed to enjoy the channels. I have 7/1 and it works fine too.

Most channels are non-HD so not sure how to answer your question regarding strain on eyes. I am a big fan of HD quality so it is generally a compromise for me, but no strain on my eyes.

I am not a TV person so can't comment more on this. TV is for my wife!
