An Anger which was suppressed for too long and finally expressed too late and to top it a too long awaited judgement giving next to nothing punishment to the culprits is what really defines India's democracy and judicial system. It is sad. Really really Sad and there's nothing anybody can do anything about it. I feel India is desitined to be a failed state.

Any one familiar with the Bhopal Gas tragedy knows that it was congress which let the culprits go scot free. Both charming price Rajiv and hideous Arjunsingh are responsible. I am surprised that all left leaning socialists are silent over the issue though now CPM is making noise to gain political mileage. CPM was effectively in driver’s seat during UPA I but did nothing then. Also Shabbo begum, Teesta and Arundhati are silent though majority of the victims were poor Muslim laborers residing near the plant.
I have several times stated in my posts elsewhere on this thread that Indians in general lack human values. We do not value human life otherwise Congress will never get elected. Apart from Bhopal tragedy, we on regular basis read the report of India soldiers/ police being killed by Maoist and terrorist but Indian soul never worries about that.
When the court takes 25 years to deliver such a soft judgment, it makes mockery of democracy. One party and one family is responsible for such a sorry state. However, the same is being touted as sacrifice for the nation! BP oil spill did not kill any Gulf coast resident but the popular public anger and incessant media criticism has force Obama to direct BP to put money in escrow account to pay for clean up and compensate whose livelihood has been affected. In India, so long as politician is not affected, nothing happens. Nehru and his clan have killed Indian conscious. We need another Mahatma or Sardar Vallabhbhai to J.P to stir their conscious. However, we have Nitish, Laoo, Mulayam and Maya instead.

I would appreciate if you would clarify a little more. When you say that Kangress is corrupt, do you believe that Man Mohan Singh is also corrupt? In past I have been attacked for suggesting MMS is culpable in corruption since he is the PM and is responsible for ALL the Govt. decisions. There are many MMS fans on this site who take offense to this suggestion. I have already listed many misdeeds under MMS govt and his anti India acts. I would appreciate your response.
Incidentally, some Sikhs are going to protest against him when he visits Toronto for G20 for his inaction on Sikh genocide by Kangress. It would be interesting to watch how he responds to such protest.
