You know what there s a problem in praying 10 times a day as then you remain close & narrow minded unable to look out of the box and appreciate other things in life ... you are bound to consider what ever you are having faith in as the only way of life and would fail to co exist with others esp when the faith dictates what s right and wrong on every facet of life and then you start judging others on the same parameters and decide to sentence them and impose your principles on others ...
It gets worse when the principles you are praying are violence and intolerance ....
And the crescendo is when you become a suicide bomber based on the 2 above and kill innocents just because they don't share your cynicism ...
I have stood out of mosques and heard the hate speeches .... ever wonder why most problems occur on Fridays after prayers ??
BTW - It is a well known fact that the less educated have less awareness and less IQ and can be manipulated far easily then the educated ones ....

Advising some one that he / she will have a much favorable / disfavorable treatment by God upon doing something is another way of enticing some one to do / not do something ...... guns and carrots are 2 sides of the same coin ...

Have you seen the propoganda in Kashmir in 1998 -99 where it was blared from the loud speakers of the mosques that who ever wishes to live in Kashmir has to convert to Islam ??
Have you seen heard about the Taliban regime and what they adminsitered as code of conduct ........ Did you note how many educational institutions they plundered .. esp for the women ?
And that s why I say that the interview I have posted on the first page is logical pragmatic and a must read .....

Well, History repeats itself. What we call 'Islamic Terrorism' now, happened long before as well. There was no media then to uncover the facts before the masses. Remember the brutality with the Sikh Gurus and their followers by Islamic rulers like Aurangzeb. This is just one single example.
Don't you think, Islam was the dominant religion in the sub-continent then ?
In the recent past, the sikh who was beheaded recently - because he didn't convert to Islam and it happened in Pakistan - where Islam is dominant. The list goes on and on....
