Option 1: illegal cash job. If you are caught you'll be jailed, finger printed, deported and will be banned from entering US of A.

Option 2: H-1B visa(65,000 visas per year) and you have to apply under the classification of EB-1, EB-2, EB-3.

Option 3: L-1, Intra company transfer. You could be transferred by your company in Canada to work in USA.

If you are Canadian Citizen you could work under TN Visa. This has certain criteria and is stamped in the airport without any quota restriction.

There is no relevance between the question and what you wrote. Maybe you did not read the post well?
Besides you need not be so graphic about being "arrested, finger printed, deported" yada yada etc. If the OP had an idea of working without a visa in the US, he would not have posted a message here. right?

Well. That is b'cos the OP never disclosed his profession or with what intension the OP wanted to work in USA and Vandemataram gave him all the options available to him. He can pick and choose his option.

If you read the question again, the original poster wants to know "if i wanna work in USA what kind of visa do i need". Where has he given the impression that he would work illegally?
The question has nothing to do with the profession - you can not work without a visa anyway, in the US.

Well. I think you did not read the line "Any kind of job" that the OP had asked and V'mathram (with his varied US experience) had simply stated the 3 different choices that were available for aliens (in which all the aliens in US all under). I am not sure if you are denoting that the illegal mexicans and other people of other nationalities are working in the USA on a H1B or on a L1 etc...
I belive that the OP has been given the choices and he will know (under his given circumstances/consequences) to follow what ever choice he wants.
Do you also honestly think tha most Sri Lankans and similr other people enter Canada under a legal refugee quota or under Canadian PR?
