Hi folks
I am travelling alone with my infant (7 months) old through Etihad Airways. So wanted to know which kind of stroller is advisable? The one which I am using right now here is ok or Do i need to purchase another one which is light in weight and easy to carry?? If I can use the same stroller which I am using right now theh what will happen to car sear? do I need to carry both??
I have no idea about it and I couldnt find specific answer about the stroller and car seat in any previous post so please guide me.
Thanks in advance

Hi Nishant 3112
Thank you very much for your reply.. At present I am using Graco Stroller and Graco car seat. If I take same with me then I am afraid they may consider stroller as one piece of luggage and another problem is where to keep car seat? in aircraft only?? I am really confused .. I may consider buying another light weight stroller.....not sure though.. will wait for your reply..

Hi, you don't need to carry both (the stroller and the car seat). Car Seat is needed when you have bought a seat for the child, on plane seat car seat is placed. In your case travel with a light weight stroller and have the baby on lap (they give you a extra long belt to buckle up mom and baby together).
On Return request the airline to provide you the bassinet (crib), they do provide for kids under 2 yrs so I'm surprised why they said baby is going to be 10 mths, but could depend upon airline to airline.
In India the strollers are used in plenty, depending on the city you go, I'm from Delhi and most of the malls, restaurants we visited we used the stroller, it can't be used for Karol Bagh type (ethnic Indian bazaars).
Hope this helps.................Jona
