Yeah the health effects are applicable to all similar drinks like Pepsi, 7Up, etc.
I don't think anything in Canadian coke is different, except perhaps the water.
Coke (and Pepsi) use local water but other ingredients are common.

You may book a taxi for a specific date/time and destination by calling your local town taxi service.
Number should be in the local business directory.
In Toronto downtown area, you may flag an available taxi (overhead Taxi# light lit).
All taxis should have meter and that is usually the best way to go.
Certain point-to-point taxis may have pre-determined fares.
Limos from the Airport have zone based fares.

GPS is highly desirable - almost a necessity these days.
Price ranges between $199 - $400, depending on features.

I just bought one from Future Shop ( $349.00 @ Canadian Tire, $ 229.00 @ Futureshop)
It is Garmin 265WT with 4.3 inch screen. Has Bluetooth conectivity, voice dailing and all.. Though I dont need it very much but it is a wonderful machine.

The amount of sugar in Coke or similar drinks is very high, about 40 grams per can. Sugar does not have any nutritional value and it is is considered empty calories. Also these days they use high fructose corn syrup or glucose-fructose as it is called in Canada instead of sugar from sugarcane. There is a controversy surrounding that HFCS is not natural since corn undergoes so much processing, gets into bloodstream very quickly and is addictive.

Can I add to this? Please limit the amount of fruit juices you drink too, even those that are 'natural' or with 'no sugar added'. They have the same amount of sugar and carbs as Coke (or other soft drinks).

And it shall be more difficult for you to follow that in Canada. I not saying it is not possible however you shall have to make a very conscious effort to eat healthy natural food over here. The amount of processed food one gets here is so very tempting hence the difficulty.
