I wouldn't pay 3K-4K for QA course.
i would just go threw fast track crashed course , just to get familiar with process and tools then study my own.

HiTech asked 1500 for my wife and she bargained it to 1400.. This was 2 years back..
Now it may be different but cant be a whole lot more..

they are charging 1000$ for a course...

That's exactly what I am planning. I will only spend on 2 courses (may be $1000 at most) from University's continuous studies in QA that would cover at least 80% and then study the rest on my own. At least with these 2 courses, my wife could put her first foot forward to start looking for entry level jobs in QA. Rest depands upon hard-work, perseverance, and patience. Thanks all.
