It's been over 5 and a half months since a friend applied for Citizenship at the Mississauga Center (applied at the end of January/early Feb). He hasn't received anything in the mail from CIC so far. Can those who have applied recently say what is the normal time that one can expect some sort of letter from them?

I understand that this delay is common and nothing to worry. You can look a total time frme of 12-15 months to get citizenship, once you apply.
