I enquired about this with a catholic school secretary who said that for admission atleast one of the parents have to be catholic.When I asked if there is no school in the area where I reside then is it possible? for this she said there is no residential place where there are no schools within reach.
She also said it is possible to join in catholic schools only in high school level.

Well my son got admission in Catholic school alongwith his non catholic peers and and no one is Catholic in any family.

Thats all I have to say.

Non-Catholics can enter Catholic schools after grade 8 ( i.e in high school only), not before. In elementary grades you have to produce baptismal certificate as a proof to prove that either parent of the student is Catholic. But in gr 9 everyone is welcome.
