1. Is there gonna be alcohol at this meeting? If so, some people might not come (eg moi ).

2. If someone registers and cannot make it in the end due to some last-minute hitch, what's the penalty?

Purpose of this meeting?

We have a thread, where we discussed the first meeting outcome. We want to extend CanadianDesi Services. It has been servicing thousands of immigrants everyday, now it is felt that we must take it beyond, and so we have these meetings.

But our meetings are not for just discussion CanadianDesi. It can be fun events, more of a social event. We have been knowing each other by avatars, but it will sure be a fun to see who "Blue Lobster" is!

We haven't finalized the agenda yet - but more or less it will be on following guidelines.

* Meeting to start at 3pm sharp
* About CanadianDesi
* What we are looking for in future
* Basic introduction of participants – name, origin, duration of stay in Canada and members of family here, and occupation.
* Request to attendees to indicate how they can help in enhancement of the group’s efforts.
* Open discussion and Ideas


No there will not be any hard drinks.

If someone registers and cannot make it in the end due to some last-minute hitch, what should be do? Should we ask them to refer CanadianDesi to at-least 100 friends?

As this is free event, this will happen We can't do anything about it. However we requested everybody who registered to cancel their registration if they can't make it. This is Canada and we know the uncertainties, but would like co-operation from everybody.

Thanks for been candid. It helps. I couldnt make it last time but this time I shall +vely. I want to meet all those people who have avtars/ pseudo names/ aliases. Its a masquerade party. Do you plan to give everyone an avtar badge which would carry their avtars and their names so that they could be identified - including different colors for senior/ junior etc. Its gonna be interesting.
