Hi Friends,

I just returned from the second Canadian Desi meeting very well arranged at Vimalji's (Biomed) place.

UnfortunatelyI had to leave in between at 6 pm due to some local engagements. But the meeting was still on.

The meeting started in time and the same was attended by about 60 plus (exact number Biomed will tell) of our valued members. Apart from Rashmi Bhai (Garvo Gujarati), Anandji(Blue Lobster), Chandreshji, Vimalji and Chopraji who mediated different sessions, many well known names like Sanjeev Guptaji, Sudhishji, Sanjeev Manochaji, Amit Kaliaji, Jyotiji (who landed only two days back), Nishit No. 1, Issac, Moinuddinbhai, Manjeetji, and many others were present.

Biomed had made excellent arrangements and planned the event very professionally. Snacks were served too. A special Canadian desi cake was also cut on the occasion. The support from volunteers too was really good.

Mr Gurbax Malhi, running for his 4th election as Member Parliament from Liberal Party also joined during one of the sessions and commended the role played by Canadian Desi in highlighting the canadianlife style and providing the best settlement help to its viewers worldwide. He was particularly impressed by the wide acceptance of this unique forum in such a short span of time.

Though the exact proceedings would be known some time later once all particpants share their thoughts, but I thought to give a brief outcome at this time.

I am sure Biomed will further elaborate for the benefit of all CD members.

I came a happy man after meeting professionals from varied streams in a homely atmosphere.

Let us hope next meeting is arranged soon !
