Hi,

I've come to Canada just before few months and I've taken a contract job in IT. Currently I'm on the agency's payroll, and end up paying higher tax.

Could anybody please suggest me some name of a reliable Tax Consultant who is into Incorporation.

Hi,

I am also confused as I am working in contract IT job since a year and my consultant (Placement agency) told me to become an Incorporate.

But I am not interested to be Incorporate.

You can save CPP and EI from your income, but the other side if you do not have job in future, you cannot claim for EI.

So you need to study the pros and cons.

If anybody here is an Incorporated can help you out.

Please browse 'incorporation' in 'jobs' section - You will find lots of post on this and you might have most of your qs already answered . I found 'business startup' thread also quite valuable ... look down... it may still be there .

Thank you all,

For your prompt replies and sending me the links. I'd already gone through those threads and decided to get incorporated. Just that I wanted a realiable Tax Consultant's name as I was doing it for the first time and am new to the country.

It will be of great help if someone can send me a personal message for the Tax consultant's name and phone number.
