Applied Canadian Citizenship - Indian Passport expired

Hi CD Experts,
My Canadian Citizenship application is in processing currently.
Meanwhile, my Indian Passport has expired and I am preparing for renewing it.
In the passport-renewal form, one of the Declarations that I have to sign for says:
"I have neither applied for nor obtained Canadian or any nationality other than Indian"

If I sign to that, it will be a lie. What should I do? Any suggestions?

Please advise ASAP.

Do not lie - call Indian consulate and ask them.

please go for your re-new new passport and then fax new passport no to hig commission . they will update your file
