SCENE 1 - 1988

Amitabh Bhachhan, shooting with Shreedevi, Number One Female Star on sets of 'Aakhari Rasta'. As the Heroine entered the set, Amitabh the most mannerly star, stood up, folded his hands in 'Namaste' to greet her.

But the Southern Culture pays more respect to the Directors and other Sr. Technicians. Shree Devi, went straight to them, exchanged greetings and only then, turned to Amitabh.

The Gentleman eternal, for these full SIX minutes, stood motionless, his hands still folded, smiling.

SCENE 2 - 2008

Shah Rukh Khan, with his 'Allies', in an Award Function, tried his best, and succeeded in demoralising and defaming his Fellow actors ( Insult, disguised as Wit). A Habit he has cultivated for years and carries on in home productions too (Om Shanti Om).

Recently, when Superstat Rajnikant named Amitabh and not Shahrukh as Bollywood's biggest star, the latter immediately questioned him " Sir, what does it take to be " Biggest Star " ?

Rajnikant's reply was decent and modest. But he could have said -

Nothing succeeds like Success, but to sustain it till old age, one requires to be Amitabh.

Its not fair to compare the two. SRK is the "KING" of present age and Amitabh is and always be "BIG B".
I guess after BIG B, SRK is only contender for the 'star of the millenium'.
As far as 'Nothing succeeds like Success, but to sustain it till old age, one requires to be Amitabh' saying goes we'll have to wait and see till SRK reaches Amitabh's age.
I am no fan of SRK coz i feel he is more of a 'star' than and 'Actor' and there are better actors than SRK in present age who are underrated or popular for other reasons or just don't work as much as SRK. I am referring to Amir, Salman etc.

Hello G : I have a question for you : I understand you have 2 kids, how do you manage to reply to every thread ...how do you get time ?

coz my infant now prefers to wake up during night and my 3 year old loves to work on his own laptop when i am on mine and its working good as he is learning so much out of it !!! I am purposely making my son use his laptop as he is learnig to speak following it coz he is a late speaker. I let him play onit then we play and practice.

I am not much of a good sleeper now as i used to be before kids.5 hrs of sleep in 24 hrs works just fine for me. In this winter what better a way to pass time by doing this than just watching stupid soaps like Maury,Montel /Jerry Springers!

Who is Rajnikant? Who is he to determine who is the best. Leave these things for time and a bigger and larger jury to decide which is public.

SRK cannot be compared with Amitab because SRK is a King Khan and any comparison with King Khan would not be correct.

Comparison should always Apple to Apple.

King Khan is much more than Amitabh because of his clean image and respect for everyone even including for Amitabh. While Amitabh has been invovled in lot of controversies thorugh out his career and even today and highly egoistic person. Secondly being a learned Hindu having associations with the most corrupt political party.


Though a great fan and admirer of Amitabh during his days somehow Amitabh has degraded himself and lost his public image by doing cheap roles in some really crap movies.

SRK is King Khan and is a living legend and people not only like King Khan, they love King Khan and respect King Khan.

SRK is liked and loved all over the world.

Long live SRK!

I agree with him 200 % that SRK can't be BIG B in this life

As always I am really crazy about Big B but I used to like SRK movies
But lately in last few years I found SRK only enjoy INSULTING his competitors
like Big B, Akshay Kumar etc etc

He has done remake of DON, which is not even 5-10 % good as original DON
Then SRK done KBC which is again FLOP

If you see SRK record for last few years, only 2-3 films is worth like Swades, Paheli & Chak de. Rest all are crab. Om Shanti Om is worst film in recent time

SRK only cares who is making film with him. When he was working with Bhansali for Devdas, he used to say all good about Bhansali etc.
When last year, their films released on same day, SRK was doing everything to make Sawariya flop

Just see variety of roles Big B is doing even at this age like BLACK, Chenni Kum etc

SRK is only doing awards show & other things to win award. He is not even eligible for Chak De.
There is Amir Khan for TZP & Abhishek for GURU

Some one says Big B is attached with some political party
For your information, SRK is only with Congress which more corrupted than any other party

Thats correct, in no way SRK be compared with Big B
Where is ANT( SRK) & where is ELEPHANT( Big B)

One is proven and another is on his way.... but not yet .....AB is a more talented performer with the diverse roles he has played .... and ruled the industry for 3 decades ... SRK gets the sack from Aamir any time and any day !!!

Watching Koffee with Karan AB outshone SRK with his superior intellect .

SRK acted deploarably in the Filmfare Awards functions this time and it was highly objectionable , the manner in which he took his personal vendetta to a professional level ..... Shame --- he de graded himself with all those vulgar unwanted anchorship ~ it was an Awards function and not an SRK one ... wished he remembered that ....

the grace and demeanor with which AB treads on the stage is matchless.
