Hi CDs

We have been using Sears connect for more than 6 months and have found their service excellent.

Recommend this service for callers who call India frequently.

If u use the 800 minutes in one month, then a call to a landline in India or to any of their listed country will be 2.9 cents only. But you have to pay 23.99 plus taxes even if u didnt make a single call. Now, u make ur own comparisons with reliance.

In Easytalk More plan, the website (http://www.searsconnect.ca) quotes a rate of 6 cents for landline (if over 800 minutes) and 21 cents for mobile in India.

Ya, 2.9 cents until 800 mins (landlines only, except US n CANADA, where both land n cell included). Any calls to cell phones are extra, they are not included in the 800 mins. Cells are included only for calls in US n CAnada.

Once, u are over the monthly limit, calls are charged 6 cents per min to all calls in US, Canada and to landlines in their listed countries. All other calls including calls to cell phones will be charged as per the exisiting rates, no changes to them (as they are not included in the plan).

I am using service of Sears Canada for last one year. The service is not so great but comparatively good as it is cheaper. The voice clarity is not comperable with Reliance. Moreover, on weekends sometime found hard to connect immediately. But the rates are so good and I have to talk more in India, UK & US its great savings to use Sears Connect.

Estimate your calling time to India ~ if you call above 600 mins use Sears Connect - if 550 or less use startec .It costs same plus you can call mobiles in India at better voice clarity .

Sears is good if you are able to utilize >700 minutes every month.

I call from StanaCard, good in price 7.8 cents no matter where u call in india and on LANDLINE OR MOBILE, SAME PRICE. also no TAX at all.

also good clarity and you don't loose money if you don't talk everyday. no hidden charges, nothing.

take a look at http://stanacard.com/en/home.aspx

i use it, try it. also if u give the PROMOTION CODE - "199996" under my referral, you will get one time - double credit in your account to make calls. for example, if you charge your a/c for $10 you will able to talk worth $20, one time because of the promotion code that i m referring to.

i suggest use sears for landline and StanaCard for mobile (if u don't get any cheaper and charge NO TAX)
