To my knowldge 2 years physical present in 5 years


Landed on : Feb/04 (Stayed for 10 days Only,Got PR card,HC,SI card)
Stayed in Dubai: 20 Months(I use to work)

Came back To Stay : from Sep/2005


Pls advise me when i am eligible for Citizenship

Resdense Calculator is not giving any Result because i was out of Canada for 20 months

I thought you would be able to figure out yourself from this line at CIC website.
"Adults must have lived in Canada for at least three years (1,095 days) out of the four years preceding the application."

while using residence calculator dont used today's date as the date of application if it does not give your results. Try with various dates of future to get an eligible date(as a date of application). For example calculate roughly 3 years from Feb.04 + 20 months of your stay outside the country so i think approximate date would be around Oct 2008 or Nov 2008 .

So instead of using today's date try with various dates from Oct or Nov 2008 dates and the earliest date you get is an eligible date for you

You need to have been physically present in Canada for a period of 3 years in the 4 years immediately preceding your citizenship application.

That is the basis for applying for citizenship. As the other posts mentioned, the cic.gc.ca website has all the relevant information. Read first before repeating the same thing again and again.
