When someone asked you if you are an investor; simply answering, "yes I am an investor " is no discussion.
If you are an investor, why don't you explain and / elaborate what you do and what has been your past experiences with REI (real estate investment)?
What type of real estate investments you do?
Active or Passive?
Residential or commercial? Then what type in more detail (like condos, multi-residential, commercial, industrial etc.)
How do you analyse your investments before you buy?
How do you purchase (your name or some corporate name) your properties?
What methods do you follow?
Any due deligence check lists (if any) you follow?
How much leverage do you use?
What kind of banks or private investors you go to?
Markets/ neighbourhoods you invest in?
Do you flip for profit or hold properties for equity appreciation?
Or do you simply speculate?
Returns you get or expect to receive?
Your postive or negative experiences?
Some tax advantages that you avail?
Websites/ books/ industry and economic news/ trends/ resources that you may want to share with others on this board?
I can go on and on...
