Hi,

Been a long long time since I visited Cd. Good to see its thriving. I completed my bachelors from Canada and worked there till 2005 and now we are planning to move back as PRs this yr or next from US.

So now tht is out of the way. I was wondering would it be a bad idea to stay in a hotel for first couple of days and actually just go check out the places in person one has scouted on the internet. Once you like something, you can stay there.

What do you guys think?

I think thats a very valid idea ... or else you can stay @ one of the recommended places in the thread for a week ( they charge weekly as well ) & check other places out ...

I am looking for a fully furnished 1-2 bedroom short-term accommodation for my family (2 adults + 3 children) from Sept. 16 to Sept. 25 (initially, might extend it for another 3-4 days) in REGINA (SK). Preferably close to Campbell Collagiate area (S4S 4M9).

If anybody knows about the initial landing place in Edmonton for new comers, please let me know.

Try to access the local newspapers online and fix a place.
Avoid Desi places, unless you need sub standard service + being swindled.
