Does anybody know about "Ganda Moola" nakshatra ?

It is supposedly(the other astrologers/horoscope experts can shed more light on this) the person who is born in this nakshathra will find it very difficult to get a spouse by horoscope matching as it is "believed" that the spouse would die immediately after marriage. Many a times people change the time of birth to fudge the horoscope and get married. They live happily with their spouses till the end.

out of 27 nakshatras of hindu astrology 6 nakshatras belonging to Mercury and Ketu have been assigned as gandmool nakshatras.These are not bad in every sense but in their stages (called Charans in hindi).
These nakshatras lie at the meeting point of two signs thats why the word "gand"(knot). But some greedy astrologers have confused the word "gand" with the tamil word "gand" meaning death-like.
The ancient astrology advocates the bad effects of these gandmool because in hindu philosophy meeting point of any two things is considered inauspicious(thats why all the major fasting is done when the seasons are changing..we are at the meeting point of two seasons)
The best remedy for gandmool nakshatras is getting a shanti path done, if possible withing 27 days of birth of the child or any other time whenever the parents come to know of it.
OR
A very simple method till the time this path is get done is get an earthen pot with 101 holes in it (Make those holes urself if u can) and bathe the person by putting water in that pot everyday.

Now coming to the bad effects some astrologers are of the view that if the moon is in the rasi of some such nakshatra only then its gandmool but others advocate that even if Sun or the lagan is in these nakshatra the native is devoid of one very important aspect in life. I am of the same view that if we have to attain all the four goals of life- Dharam,Arth,Kaam,Moksha -- the shanti of the nakshatra is very important.
PS: Make sure that the person ur r requesting to do the path is karam kaandi and knowledgable; otherwise the things wont improve much.
