Recently came accross an organization called United Hindu Congress of Canada. This is a not for profit organization aimed towards the immigrant community in Canada. Though they are inclinded more towards the hindu community they are open for all religion.

I find it a good place to hang out and build network people. and also the contribute somthings back to immigrant community in canada.

I heard it now! Thanks for the posting Psycho bhai.

Its about time a organization like the UHCC came forward to cater to the needs of the second generation Hindu canadians.
This will serve as a bridge between the pulls of the 21st century needs and the ancient hindu philosphy of Vasudevo Kuttumbham.

I look forward to checking this site out.

This was the main purpose of this organization too, coz according to the founder, he realized that canadian govt. they dint have a central agency which denotes the hindu community and hence can't provide or hear the grievances of this community.

But never the less, irrespective of religion this organization welcomes everyone. If anyone interested there is a meeting this saturday around 12 afternoon, in which they are going to discuss regarding certain programs to be held next year. If you want to take part call the number in the website.

In addition to this they are also planning to link with various other similar organization through out the world, to give assistance to its members when/if they plan to go there.

Anyway NO AMWAY or QUICKSTAR are allowed there
