pl. note how I am not calling anybody else any names or accusing anyone of being a liberal agent or an NDP agent even though some folks here appear to be unrelenting fans of liberal party.

the liberal party's greatest success in the last 20 years has been convincing everyone that they are immigrant friendly.

i realize you are being sarcastic but you are right.
the statistics speak for themselves.
the latets Ipsos Reed poll predicts that liberals will win ALL the ridings in Toronto, and many ridings in the GTA.
PC party will not win even 1 riding within Toronto and very few in GTA (NDP will win whatever Liberals don't win).
in the rest of Ontario PC will do better but overall this is looking like another majority govt. for Mr. Guinty.

so that proves the "convincing" part.

now, more data:
other than the 7 years of Mike Harris, Ontario has had a left leaning govt. (Liberal and NDP) since the mid 1980s.

next, on a chart, map the ontario deficit from the mid 1980s to today.
you will see for yourself what liberal govt. are doing to the province.

interestingly, Ontario's debt-to-GDP ratio dipped for a couple of years immediately following the Mike Harris govt. i.e. first 2 years of McGuinty's first term.

After that it went up again and has kept going and going and going like the proverbial Energizer bunny

soure : Ontario Finance Authority archives at ofina.on.ca

do you know that as of today, Ontario's per capita debt stands higher than the states of California and Texas - two of the largest states/provinces in all of North America?

do you know that most financial agencies now consider the state of California to be essentially bankrupt?
California is paying its public sector by borrowing from the US federal govt. on a monthly basis.

The ONLY reason Ontario is not bankrupt is because of the huge increases in taxes.

give this situation, what is going to happen next is clear:
HUGE increase in taxation - be prepared for more taxes like carbon tax, more increase in auto and home insurance rates, higher hydro rates, a gasoline tax, etc.

all these things like green energy, HST, etc. are just smoke screen and nothig else.
pure pulling wool over the eyes of the people.

here is the real game that is being played : all this is designed to hide and cover up the deficit.
all this green energy, public transit, harmonized taxes is essentially a classical magician's right handed trick, intended to distract you from what his left hand is doing.
it is purely a cover up to hide the debt and the deficit and the greasing of their cronys and special interest groups.

Ma Ma mein chup nahi rahongi......thank god tomorrow is election and this thread will be closed for another 4 years.

Otherwise we have to hear PC song again and again.,,,

BTW, I am not going to vote tomorrow...1st time in my life because I do not like Conservative aka PC aka Rebulicians aka Tea party and their conservative agenda. Liberals do not deserve my vote and I never trusted NDP so I can not vote for them either.

Let the fun begin....

as late as yesterday evening, the president of the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW - the cousin of the UAW) Buz Hargove has profusely endorsed Dalton McGuinty.
In this words, McGuinty has a great record and has delivered great performance.
He has worked with labour and ensured the auto sector bailouts"
etc.

this is not a surprise that mcguinty is the puppet of the unions.

one teeny tiny fact that the esteemed Mr. Hargrove fails to mention is that as a result of the bailouts, he and his fat cat associates are getting a $10,000 bonus this year.
they are also getting a near 8% raise.
in the meantime, the federal and ontario governments of Canada have no hope of ever receiving the full money of the bailouts back from these leeches.

I pose my question again :
how many of you are getting a $10,000 bonus this year?
how many of you are getting a 8% raise this year?

latest poll shows Liberals ahead by almost 8 points..almost certain majority win here.

so dear friends, please prepare yourself for 4 more years of bending over and getting screwed.

but hey, at least we are not being ruled by white supremacists, right?
we are being ruled by immigrant friendly leaders that are going to speed up immigration, right?

of course.
