Thanks a lot for the reply to both of you.

In Canada the average score for all the Universities which offer PhD in Marketing is above 700. And in US, the number of Universities is also more, so I personally feel that scope gets slightly better even if you score less.

Actually it's difficult to leave ones' family behind for a period of 4-5 years, that's why I want to know how much stipend is sufficient if I call my wife and kid once I join PhD? And how easy it is to get F2 for them?

If I don't get enough stipend to support them, or they don't get F2, then I am better here in India.
