Hi, I normally dont post news items from the web as they are there for all to see but this one really upset me.

In another article a US radio station has actually broadcast an abusive call to an Indian Call Centre where he calls her a *itch.

I used to work as an IT Recruiter for a large company in the States and have received some pretty abusive emails myself - but this is way too much.

The one day suspension is VERY surprising considering how the new "conservative" FCC is cracking down on media after the Janet Jackson fiasco.
Considering the huge fines that Howard Stern's employer recently paid, this punishment ain't even a slap on the wrist.

Anyways, Whenever that happens, we would have yet another voice standing up against hate crimes like this.
I guess the FCC would react only if they are made aware by tons of people that this was an abuse.
