I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
So there is nothing to cheer about!
The last para from above link is relevant.
Quote:
"We should wait for the Congress to form the cabinet and state its policies before panicking," Vijayan, CEO, JM Mutual Funds, told NDTV. "Today was expected to be bad. The problem is that we are getting no clear directions from the Congress-led coalition, as different parties are saying different things," he added.

Major countries in the world are outsourcing millions of their low level jobs to India, so what is wrong if India outsources only one of its jobs to Italy. After all, we Indians believe in always returning the favours, debts. So, India takes millions of jobs from all over the world and outsources only one, the top job. Where is the problem?
It is a shame that Congress, Communists and the so-called secular parties (Yadav group, Mayawati, Pawar etc) have to select a foreigner to be their leader and of the country.
Last 6 years, I was regretting my decision of coming to Canada. But after this Indian election, I think I took a good decision. It is better to be ruled by foreigners in a foreign country, rather than being ruled by a foreigner in your own country.
This mentality of dynasty worship put us Indians into 1200 years of slavery - first under the Muslims and then the British. Now, the Muslims have been Indianised, thanks to the Britishers. Benefit from the British rule, is that we learnt English in India, making India a good place for outsourcing.
Benefits from Sonia Gandhi's rule - We'll learn and speak Italian in 20 years. At present, we get jobs from English speaking countries only, then we'll get Italian jobs too. In Canada, that means Indian will break into the Italian dominated construction labour job market.

It was expected. When you bring together a bunch of cronies and communists with a party that is rudderless, the obvious has to happen.
Disinvestment, BOP, Outsourcing, Networth, GDP, Percapita - all are bound to hit and the first reaction was to see on the stock market. I think the credit rating for the country should also go down immdtly.
Subsidisation for the poor under different programs and different channels for siphoning out the money - shall be formed and opened.
The country is bound to go back in time by atleast 5 years...
This is one of the biggest debacles in Indian history.

My only hope now is that the rolling ball has gained enough momentum not to be stopped or reversed by Cong-I or the "coalition" parties. It is upto the corporate India to have a strong enough lobby not to let a few idiots reverse the policies that have brought India both recognition and progress.
Maybe its a good thing these crooks will do anything for bribes.
At the same time, we all have to sit back and wonder why the BJP lost despite the prevailing good times. Were the poor really ignored to a point of frustration? Or did the well-off not bother to vote? Or is it a bit of both?
