It is interesting that no body started any discussion on this topic. Yes this board is for different purpose and so there should not be any desi politics, but still lot depends on this.
Our famous exits polls predicts hung parlament. Just to note that they predicted wrong verdict just a year ago for 4 assembly polls. Though Andra Results are here, we should not have any reason to believe that NDA is going to have soo less seats that our great Bharat will be sold in the hands of ..........
I am not sure what is going to happen. World is watching us. The projected growth rate for India is crying. On one hand we have Mulayam, Lalu, Mayavati, Pawar, Sonia and likes. On other hand we have seen a stable government for five years and also seen some progress on certain sectors.
What will happen now? The results are due in just twelve hours.
Can anybody guess the results here?
Here is my try:
NDA 280
CONG 140
Others Rest
In case NDA fails to have more than 260 seats it is going to form government with Mulayam (So bad! This is politics)
BTW, is anybody know on which radio station I can listed live election update from here? Or any TV channel in North America?

I would really feel very bad and sad for my country if selfish politicians in order to keep NDA out would endorse a 'videshi' for the top post. Any bod who is not a natural born citizen can not become Prime Minister or President of a western country, I feel that India should also have a law of this nature. While I would not object to Rahul or Priyanka taking a shot at it after proving their mantle, it would be really a very sad day in the history of my dearest country if something of this sort happens. I hope that Lord Rama would bestow good sense in to their (selfish politicians) heads so that they would not venture any thing of this type.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying for NDA to get the majority and ABV to hold the fort again if India has to have a stable democracy and prosper to become a fully developed nation.

Hi Garvo,
I defer with you on your projection now that the results of Andhra are here. See the nature of defeat of "Chandra Pradesh". Did you notice that in the Andhra results there was a all round regional (all segments) defeat for Chandra Camp. This can result into all calculations of BJP seats haywire.
My guess is BJP will be less than 250. And everybody is keeping the fingers crossed here in India. It is going to be big bang on 13th.

Looks like the stars favour ABV.

It's a frustrating that we can't seem to get the election results in spite of having ATN-ZEE. I was just looking at the schedule for this week in ATN-ZEE and they have nothing on Indian elections. Apart from logging on to the internet and trying luck in the major newspapers there's nothing much to do.
Here's a couple of website you can look at:
