Alright ...with everyone referring to "motley crew" .. metallica in totaly unrelated threads ....here is a thread to reflect back on music of our times

MI........hmmm, didn't mean to upset you by talking about Motley Crue, Metallica, etc.;)

ON, you seem to be quite a Rod Stewart fan.......Downtown Train, Have I told you Lately, etc, MTV had him on one of their unplugged shows awhile ago, was terrific.

MI, talking about Pet Shop Boys, a number of their hits, don't know if you've heard these - Suburbia, West End Girls, Domino Dancing.....could go on.

Aaah, the memories. Didn't notice Wham and Duran Duran in there.

Anyways, what do you fellas listen to now? And don't say Britney :p.

Any Incubus fans?

Pet Shop Boys
Go west!
Ah yes!
I remember how I used to dance to that with Visa in my hand
80's were the greatest for music.
I have tonnes and tonens of links of 80's music....and still relish them every week end.

Saw Mama-Mia (the musical) couple of weeks back in downtown TO. Has a whole list of great ABBA songs. And it was done very well indeed. My wife is a big ABBA fan and she was very impressed.

They're selling tickets with discounts upto 40% currently (I guess the cheapest ones would go for about 30 bucks a pop). The better ones may cost you around 50-70 bucks (with the discount).

You can check for details and reservations at http://www.mirvish.com." rel="nofollow">LINK They also have good deals for other shows.

(Warning -

Ultra conservative desis should not go. Although the show itself is very decent, the subject matter is rather mature and modern.
