I am moving soon to Canada.

How easy will it be to find a job in Industrial Automation Specially in Calgary or ALBERTA region?

An Industrial Automation professional works for Automation of Machines,
takes care of logic and sequence of operation. Works for SCADA which is Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition.

Any modern industry requires automation engineers.

Why is this message posted in "Driving" category?

Industrial automation is very specialised skill and depending upon your skill, it might be easy for you to find a good job. Are you an engineer or a technician? What kind of experience (which O/S, industry) do you have?

I am new to this forum. After posting i realized its in a wrong category.
I corrected but i can not delete my post in this category.

I worked for manufacturing industry mostly mines and metals.
I am working for last 17 years in this field and I am an engineer.

That helps. Well, companies such as GE (General Electric) look for professionals with SCADA, PLC, etc experience. I have seen postings before and the positions were located in Western Canada (AB and BC). Start looking into the career sections of sites such as GE to get an idea of what titles you should pursue and then can expand your search using those titles. How easy it is to get a job is a million dollar question. You'll have to try to find out. Hope this helps.
