To repair Central AC

Our AC broke down...we do not have any maintainance package, any suggestions ? I know sears offers this service...any other recommendation or any other person ?

Ashu,

Your problem may be very small. A technician will be able to trouble shoot and tell you all about it.

If I were you I will contact AshwaniG.

Some of the machines loose their seal, due to aging. Some of the machine loose gas through these seals and if the machine is older than 10 years, they cannot do anything for you. It will call for a New Machine. All these depends on the problem that you have. If it is small and could be fixed, will be about $100 plus a service call.

Did you check the filter..some machine dont run if they need severely filter change.

We have lots of bigger windows in the house. Previous owner has replaced all the window not only with bigger size but also with casement window...

so we never need to run A/C.

During very hot days, we chose our evenings in garden with our son and some times in mall....and it get cool down at 8

And our basement is cool like a/c no matter in what weather as it has tile instlaeed.

something to look when you buy new house. The energy consumption is too high for a/c and not worth it.. we rather invest that money in house renovation.
