Hi Goud, I thought earlier the process time in Sydney will be the same for everyone based on application received date and will change once the file moved to the respective local cic office but seems I might be wrong as you applied earlier then me.....here is my timeline

We started processing your application on November 21, 2008.

Your file was transferred to the Oshawa office on December 17, 2008. The Oshawa office will contact you if additional information is required. The Oshawa office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.

We sent you a notice on January 16, 2009 to XXXX to appear and write the citizenship test on February 17, 2009 at 9:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

My file was transfered to CIC on 1st oct, still waiting for the test date.What do you all suggest--should I wait till mid of feb. or call CIC office?

Hello everyone,

Here is my timeline for Mississauga Centre

Application Sent January 18 2008.

Started processing March 2008.

File transferred to the Mississauga CIC office on July 2008.

Test Nov 2008

Oath Feb 2009.

Would anyone know if it is appropriate to take infant to the Oath (Not part of application).

I have seen some old posts on this, indicating its okay to take infant to Oath but would appreciate any recent experience from anyone.
