Will they forward my application to CIC right away or is there a wait time?

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 4, 2007.

We started processing your application on March 17, 2008.

We sent you a letter on on March 17, 2008.

Your file was transferred to the Scarboro Citizenship office on July 4, 2008.

We sent you a notice on July 9, 2008 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 26, 2008 at 1:30 PM.

Finally, I know Markham applications are transferred to the Scarboro Citizenship office. I asked a numberof times but no one either knew or did not bother.

Also this is strange that others are taking the test and oath the same day but you are waiting. All the best, keep us informed.

I read in some other post that you have applied for LANDING PAPER in July, & even applied for citizenship without that.

One of my friend is still waiting for the landing paper & haven't applied for citizenship considering it would take more time if he applies without having required documents. Please update on your situation....

As your online status suggest, it seems they have accepted the citizenship application without landing paper, or have you got the landing paper & mailed it to them already ?????

My application was received on July 21, 2008 but do not have any acknowledgment yet. Any suggestions!
