I worked in Saudi Arabia from 1994 t0 1996. I applied for Immigartion in June 2000. At present I am working in United Arab Emirates, I attended interview in India in Canadian High commission in November 2005, the visa officer told me to submit the P.C.C. for U.A.E and Saudi Arabia after that they will issue visa, she said medical papers she will send soon, I got the P.C.C. of U.A.E. very easily as I am working here at present, but I am unable to get the P.C.C. of Saudi Arabia, i approached Saudi embassy for P.C.C. they are telling they are not authorise to give P.C.C.

Pl suggest what should I do now to get the Police Clearence Certificate from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. From here I feels it is impossible to get the P.C.C. of Saudi Arabia.

Immigration application acknowledges that KSA does not issue PCC. Dig out this information from CIC site. Visa officer may not know this.

Hi,
When I recieved my Initial Assessment, I was asked to submit PCC from all the countries I lived more than six months including Saudi Arabia.
I called the Saudi Consulate in US, I sent them all the details including Fingerprints, My passsport Copy, Iqama copy(If available), Visa Copy (In the passport).
They were very courteous, sent my information back to Saudi, In 2+ Months I got the PCC from Saudi.
I can't forget that they did not charge any money to issue a clearence..

Did you leave Saudi in Exit Visa or Exit Re-entry, just curious. This has nothing to do with your PCC.

From India, i gave the Canadian Visa officer an affidavit on stamp paper signed by notary that i could not obtain PCC from saudi arabia despite my efforts (i never tried). They accepted it and gave me the visa. This was in Jan. 2001

Sidenote : My friend says that Canadian immigration officials generally donot expect PCC from people in Saudi, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain etc.. I canot guarentee that this is true but only what i heard. He was from Kuwait and he also did not submit his PCC for Kuwait as he was in india then.
