Here in last couple of discussion forms I read few people are really frustrated in Canada. Very simple Question from who don’t like Canada.
1. "Why you apply immigration and came here if you don’t like here or you love so much India/home country?"
2. Why are you still here and not going back and taking out your frustration on net?
these are the questions that i had asked them several times, but it only result in heated arguments. so no comments, am happy and don't want to take another participation in debate. let me concentrate on my work, but i tell u that i agree with u.

Well, it all happens if "potential" and "expectation" are not at comparable level. (Getting a BMW on 35K salary is possible. But is it feasible? )
Next, majority of ppls do not want to give up North American lifestyle and accept few hardships of Asian countries.
Finally, procrastination. Let me take this, let me get this, let me reach there, let me blah blah blah and then I'll return back.

1. I applied for immigration b'cos i thought that the govt. was honest in spreading information that it needed professionals. On my search in the web (1998) , all statistics indicated that canada needed more professionals. Many were cheated by consultants by painting a rosy picture ( i did not come through a immigration consultant). Even if you are a wizz in english, communication etc.. there is not much scope for people other than in IT. To be frank i hate it here.
2. when i came in 2001 i brought $12,000. As of now i am 30K debt. From 2001-2005, i could have earned around 60K if i was in the Gulf. Let me be very clear. I will not leave this country unless the govt. compensates me by 60K + clears my debt or i earn 60K as of today. I think unless thatt happens, no one had the right to show me the door froim this country. Taking my frustration on a public forum like this helps to educate some and also opens my eyes to people who suffer more than me. Almost every non-IT person that i see , does not like Canada for its lack of job oppertunites. For many, they have sold their life possessions and have come here and lost everything here.
Immigrants in Canada are also of different professions other than IT. I have seem that most of the forum's contributors are IT people who use this forum from work. There is a major % of immigrants who slog in labour camps/ factories etc.. and who have no time to post in forums like these. I have talked to so many people , who see this forum regularly and they share my views.

Excellent. Here is the classic point. You did the research, and it showed that Canada needed professionals. And Canada still needs professionals. Either you are not a professional, or something in your personality/attitude/background/experience is holding you back from realizing your full potential.

Interesting. First, when someone says goverment of Canada, I think people of Canada. When they say money from the goverment, I think money from the people of Canada. So why should the people of Canada give you $ 60,000? What have you done for US, the people of Canada, to deserve the money? What is so special about you that deserves a grant? Oh because you would have made it somewhere else? That is the interesting part. YOU APPLIED for immigration. Inferring that you made the choice to come here. The keyword is choice. Nobody dragged you here. Why did you apply, because you did the research. And the research showed you that Canada had a need for professionals. So why are you blaming the people of Canada for YOUR research?
Finally, unlike most people here that propose kicking people out of Canada, I don't want that. I want to be repaid all of the money that the \"people of Canada\" spent on you. For medical service - as lousy as they were, they did cost money. And you are healthy. For education, for security and finally for the freedom to speak your mind. Try this in the gulf and see what happens. This is my good day. Somedays, I would even ask for money to be in our company, and breathing our fresh air. Then you are free to leave if you wish

Your view is bit wrong.I am not saying all people are happy.As i cleared in another thread with you that people other than IT are making also good money and happy here.You just need to open your eyes and look around.
