Coop program age limit 30?
Bak in 2004, I tried to put a desi guy to a coop program. I was told that the age limit is 30 (the guy was 36). Can someone please update on this?

Here's another link that you can try for coop programs that I mentioned earlier, there's no age limit for these programs. Parag63, it is ideal for u because u can register now and join asa u arrive in Canada.
http://www.dpcdsb.org/coopcentre/
St. Gabriel (Malton) is popular as I know few contacts of mine who are pleased with their services. They claim to place 80% of their students in paid positions within 3 months of completeion of Coop. Please google for more institutes in GTA or other location in Canada as there are tons of them. Career bridge is also a excellent resourse for new immigrants, they provide services such as free evaluation by WES, paid placement for 3 months in ur field, ESL classes, resume preparation etc. The link for that is
http://www.careerbridge.ca/" rel="nofollow">LINK
Let me know if u need any furthur details.
Cheers!

Hi aashiray,
Thanks for the links.
Is it possible to join immediately or do they put us on the waiting list?
Can we register for them from outside Canada?

Hello, I can't say about the queue status
Usually they adjust you since they have several batches running at the same time. But it is advisable to register in advance so one gets choice of class schedules, teacher etc. Hope that answers your question, Rajan. U can call them up and they wud help u answering any queries.
Cheers!

Hi aashiray,
Thanks a lot.
I read in one of the links that they interview the candidates. So I guess we need to be in Canada to start the application.
