Y dont u try and take some course in a field which is techno functional like SAP - Avoid the mainstream tech areas as ur age and lack of exp v/s glut of right aged techies will be against u .
Manasvi.
I would suggest that you take up coop program that will provide you with a volutary placement of 3 months in IT organisation. This course is free/Govn funded for new immigrants and aims to prepare the newcomer get suitable opening in their own feild. This is the shortest cut to get ur foot on door in ur feild. You will gain Canadian experience which is extremely important to get interveiw calls here. Also u can enroll for evening course at any vocational college like Humber/ Sheridian etc for a software testing or technical writing course which will cost u around 350 Cdn $ approximately. These two things(coop and course) will make ur resume look excellent. I wish u a Very happy New Year and all the best in making this country ur home very smoothly. Take care. If u need any help in any way like job search, course selection etc u are welcome to send me personal message. Take care........

St. Gabriel (Malton) is popular as I know few contacts of mine who are pleased with their services. They claim to place 80% of their students in paid positions within 3 months of completeion of Coop. Please google for more institutes in GTA or other location in Canada as there are tons of them. Career bridge is also a excellent resourse for new immigrants, they provide services such as free evaluation by WES, paid placement for 3 months in ur field, ESL classes, resume preparation etc. The link for that is
