hi there, yes dubai is a good place but yes do u have the security of living there forever and ur children's edcuation. we lived in karama for abit and then moved the ghusais, near the abbatoir. We love dubai and still miss the fun and little bit of stress free life. the only stress of loosing ur job someday and not having the visa which forces us to move out of dubai.

all the best for ur move to canada, bit of struggle initially but will fall in place.

looking to all the posts here I feel if I could go there so can anyone tell is it possible to find a job from Canada in the field of Sales/marketing which provide a good income. My Basic background is from Insurance

Dubai the city of gold, fun-n-frolic, Lipton special chai ( esp in a malu restaurant) and how can one forget suleymani chai ( for the health conscious ), set dosas, bhel puris...oh memories so sweet and everlasting.

Dubai has a charm which is difficult to describe, right from landing at Sheikh Rashid airport till the time for the yearly trip back home. I wonder if time really flies in Dubai nothing is static, everything so vibrant and dynamic.

Each area in Dubai has its own uniqueness be it Karama , Deira or Bur-Dubai.

The hours spent in city centre, Bur Juman and Lamcy Plaza are some of the most memorable ones.

My bond with Dubai is so special that I visit some of the websites every weekend. I am sure that most people who have migrated here from Dubai do the same. My favourite is daijidubai.com since it also keeps me in touch with my roots back home in Mangalore.
