Hello Everyone,
Just wondering what is the entry level salary for ERP consultants in Canada (Oracle or SAP).
Are there people in Canada, who load Oracle Apps as well
Cheers,
It is around 35-40 CAD/hour.

Hi Desi Driller
Thanks for responding. I understand that all new immigrants (without Canadian experience) will have to initally work on short term contracts, and not on fixed salary basis.
Cheers,

Job market is not very good here.Even if you get short term contract ( 3 month), you should consider yourself lucky.( till the time you get enough experience in Canadian market)

On the Technical side in SAP there are following 4 Job Roles
1. ABAP Programmer -- Developer
2. BASIS Administrator -- Application Server Administrator
3. Oracle (DB) Administrator -- DBA
4. OS Administrator
5. Network Administrator .
Needless to mention up the list , deeper knowledge in SAP is required .
Both BASIS / DBA are interspersed roles as DB of Apps is typical & 1 shd have knowledge of both the DB and the Application .
1. Do SAP / Siemens provide any track on the Admin part . ABAP track - is it developer / administrator oriented ??
2. Hows Oracle Apps doing versus SAP in terms of proportion ??
Thanks for the link for ordering Oracle Apps cds.
