Hi,
Does someone give me good long distance call services to India? I mean cheap and good quality. Anything cheaper than 12 cents.
Rani

In last 10 years I have used almost everything including Bell long distance service & each & every calling card. Since a year or so I am using reliance & I think this is the best service I've ever gotten. It is 13.9/min but in first attempt u get connected & sound quality is very clear all the time.

I second that! In my experience, Reliance for calls to India stands head and shoulders above everyone else. In all my years in North America, I have never seen a very affordable option for calls to India for which the quality is still the same as when I signed up. i.e. Until Reliance came along.

How about Comwave? I have heard they are pretty good to. Anyone here used Comwave and if so how good is the service & voice quality?

I have been using Reliance for calling India and am very happy with the service. However today I got a call from Comwave offering a better deal, call rates to metro cities at 10.9 cents per minute . Just wondering whether anybody here has tried comwave and how does the sound quality compare to Reliance?

Sorry to hear that you have had bad experience with Reliance, we have been using their services for the last 2 yrs and we had not had a single problem with them till this day.

Infact i like it, that they call each month and inform you of your bill before charging to your credit card,it helps to keep a tab on how much one is spending every month.

I went with reliance and have been using it for 2 months now. One thing is that i now spend 100% more on my calling to india budget. Secondly, i always use pre paid option by internet. once i tried to pay it and for 2 times the message said "your transaction could not go through".The 3 rd. time, it went through. But in my credit card bill, i found that it has been charged thrice while my credit was for one alone. I called the customer service rep.. He was quite rude and told me to e-mail the complaint with the credit card statement which i did and it is now more than 5 days and no action has been done on their side. The amount overcharged is CDN $ 23.
I still use their service due to its ease of operation but have no respect for its service.

I agree with tamilkuravan. That happens with me a lot. In nutshell I can say that customer service with reliance is very poor but as far as the quality, rates, etc are concerned I am quite satisfied with it.
