Call MP again, he will be able to find out the letter status. I called my MP as suggested by you and they call me back in turn in less than a week and told me that the letter was mailed on "X" date and within 30 days you will get visa. Same thing happened.

Thanks for the information. When I was in Toronto, I had really bad experience with MP.... they didn't help at all ..and secretary was very rude..she just dined to do anything and told me to wait in queue..now I moved to mississauga so possible MP is better in this area..

can I ask you, which area did you contacted your MP?

I will suggest faxing the query or emailing the letter to him. Document the letter. Do write in the letter that you are a citizen.

I live in east and my MP is in Scarborough Town Centre.

Try picking any volunteer of Liberal Party and then approach the MP.

I believe that it is matter of time you should hear the news anyday. In the meantine, try getting CAIPS, it will help you.

one more Q to you......while CHC N Delhi req your parents to send passport for visa...did you notice the status of their appln on e-cas ?....did it change or it was just showing the usual msg.....pl infm...

There was no change till they asked the passport.
Five days after sending the passport, the client status changed to Decision made. Vague statement -
'We have received your medical results. A decision has been made and communicated to " ".'

Week after that my mother received the passport with visa pasted on it.

Thank you. Local MPs off yesterday asked me to just mail the passport, as according to them CH N Delhi was waiting for it. Although we haven't recd any such letter, our parents are going to mail their passport anyways with a coering letter. Let's see what happens.
