A little correction on the earlier mohavraa..Its not "Na mamo kartaa "kaano "mamo saaro, but its "kehno" (bolvaa no) mamo saaro. Apabransh thaata its got to "kaano".

By the way, a few more apabransh examples: Bombay...to Mumbai coming from Mumbadevi which actually means "Maha Amba Devi"....famous temple there.
Manali which comes from Manu Aalya ( the famous Manu Temple there used to be the ashram of Manu Bhagwan where he wrote the Manu smriti.
