Finaly I am also landed from dubai last saturday.
Now looking for temporary accomodation for family from 24 june
Is any body can help

We (3 of us) landed comfortably at Pearson airport on 7th June thru Lufthansa airlines via Frankfurt (break of 5 hours). Immigration formalities were done quickly with a smile and customs also was no problem. No bags opened, but I had the list of goods ready with me broadly mentioning clothes, spices, footwear, leather accessories & utensils. Jewellery that was left behind was photographed in one single photo and was mentioned in the list to follow. So everything went well, excepting one cartoon out of 3 was missing, which Lufthansa sent it to me at our house in Scarhouse after 2 days. Between the 3 of us we were allowed 6 bags of 32 kgs each. We put our clothes etc in 3 bags and utensils etc in 3 cardboard cartoons. But the handbags gave us a problem at Bombay. We were asked to remove about 6 kgs of goods from 2 bags, which made us leave our eatables behind. Else everything was ok.

Congratulations on your immigration.

I also recommend you to check http://www.portshotel.ca." rel="nofollow">LINK It is right by the lake Ontario in a very convenient area for new immigrants. This hotel offers 1-2 bedroom suites with independent kitchen and other facilities like phone, message service, voicemail and internet. There are lots of eating places and grocery facilities nearby.

my family stayed at ports hotel for a week.They were not happy.Rundown mattresses.kitchen utensils not provided.My friend also stayed there at that time.He was also complainig.They expect you to keep the apartments and toilets clean.But no mop or anything to keep it clean.They expect us to buy mop and wiper etc or what?
