I had applied for immigration in the skilled worker category. We completed the medical but I submitted only my passport and ROLF as I was advised I can sponsor my wife and son after I become a PR and also due to the requirement of proof of funds. Now I have received my Visa and will be coming within the next 3 months. Could you tell me
1. The procedure for obtaining Visa for wife and son
2. Normal duration of processing from application to obtaining Visa
3. Where should I submit my application. Is it in Canada or India?

your question is unclear, and can base on several scenarios.

If you apply from canada later on after your landing (and your family's medicals have expired), you will have to start the whole process all over again, plus pay fees (sponsor spouse category). It could take something like 3-6 months.

If you submit their passports now in India, it would be quicker and easier.
Just submit the passports and get them stamped. your family can join you later (before the landing date deadline expires).

If I understand correctly, you are suggesting that I pay the right of landing fee for spouse and submit the passports of my wife and son for visa stamping. This will avoid reapplication and medicals.
