Please do'nt mind u use very blunt language. U can write like this because u r living cozy life. Please bear with hard facts. There are so many people who have even lot come to canadiandesi.com
I understand ur feelings don't give up. But after doing two or three years in mazdoori ask a professional how he or she feels. Please we have to raise our voice against this racist regime.
Raise your voice by all means, just don't make unreasonable posts - (like saying that only illiterate people like Canada).
You talk about humility, you should show some. You've not been able to find a job, accept that YOU have shortcomings rather than putting the blame on someone else.
to the point -
IF given option to anyone in India whether he want immigration to Canada or USA. He will definately select USA.(assuming it takes same time to get immigration from both countries)
Canada is always an alternative, or so called gateway to USA.

Sorry to resurrect this very old thread. I found this when I was searching for “USA vs. Canada”. I read most of the replies in here and got a pretty clear message that the US is better than Canada in many areas. This discussion was 6 years old and many things have changed since; I would like to ask the same question, which country is better to settle? I am a Nepali and consider myself a very much an Indian and speak Hindi too.
I have been Canadian PR since Dec 2009 and US GC holder since Feb 2010. I have spent a week in Alberta and fell in love with it especially Banff. I have been living in the US for about 12 years now (mostly student, 2 years in H1B and GC for a year).
I am trying to decide where to settle. I am a peace loving person who cares a lot about the earth and its environments and does NOT care about making too much money (but still needs to make enough to keep my family going). I, currently, work as an IT Support Manager but eventually want to become a politician/diplomat. Which country would have that opportunity better for me? Thanks for your time!
Hey Nixone,
I lived in US and Canada equal amt of time but I would say in my opinion, I would rate life in US to be better than CA. I can easily compare my monthly grocery bills, apt/home rent, insurance costs and weather... On the down note, Health insurance is expensive in US. But at the same time the service you get in US is far far much better thatn CA. If I need a specialist I have to wait long times in CA and I can easily say that the health service I got in CA is far far below my expectations.. Just my opinion. Good luck with ur decision.
So.... the match started again and Canada need to score some RUNS.
1. If you need to pay health insurance from your pocket or if you do not have a job in USA, you know the value of Free Health, particularly when you get sick.
2. Canadian Passport is far more superior than US in the world. Basically you can fit into the label as a Canadian with Black, Brown or white skin ..... not as American.
