Approval Letter

When the CIC send out a letter after a decision is made, do they also update the e-client to say the same? Also, in my case, the file is already at the Los Angeles Consulate and I had my interview in June 2003 which was succesful. I submitted all the required documents, medical results and ROLF in August and my e-client status was updated to decision made last week. When can I expect to hear from the CIC regarding this decision?

Thank you for your quick reply Masood bhai on my second question. Coming back to my first question, does the CIC update the e-client when they send out a letter related to the decision?

They nomally do but e-client is not the most reliable of tools these days...

masoodji,
my interview was waived post IELTS and my final medical results sent in on 21st july, hopwever my e client status is under process. What do I read into this and what should be done, if anything, to know the current status of my application.

Many people are waiting. As Massoodbhai told e-client is not a reliable tool these days. Now, they have also stopped in person and telephonic enquiries in India. (http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/new-delhi/visas-en.asp)

My friend's status was updated on e-client to decision made 3 or 4 days after he got back his passport with visa.
