Lawyers/ consultants are not compulsory - the forms are simple and the instructions sufficiently detailed that you can handle the entire immigration process yourself.

why do u want to migrate from Australia to Canada? They say today Australia is a better place to migrate to when compared to Canada.

It is more or less correct to say that one does not need a lawyer for the immigration process. It depends on what exactly your chances are of getting the passmarks.

As for me I was on the borderline so I retained Abrams & Krochak in Toronto and they were assuring me that they will get me passed. Also, I must say a lot of my friends helped too. But the whole concern is time. When we look for the process, lawyers do come in handy because they save time and your application goes through by approved lawyers who legally impress upon the consulate with your credentials.

Before the time I finally filed my papers, the pass mark came down to 68 and I forced my lawyers to draw up a new agreement and give me money back guarantee. So in terms of time, reviewing ref letters, drawing out and matching me up with the right NOC codes for employment was a huge plus. This was good in my case as I had done my masters in an obscure field: Service Management which is quite a loner when you try to match it with the common profiles. Most commonly, I was being matched with a regular customer service rep but with Masters that was not I was intending to. But I lawyers helped me pick the right code etc.

I could have done all this but I would have taken atleast 1/3rd time more than having them do the job. And all they charged me was $1,800 US funds payable in three instalments throughout the immigration procedure.

If you want to get in touch with them you must first get on http://www.akcanada.com." rel="nofollow">LINK They have an online form, you fill it up and within a day they get back to you with an offer. If you get across the pass mark well enough, they offer you a money back guarantee.

So as I said it depends on you and how common your profile etc is. And also if you have a hectic job and want to entrust the process to another person and let him deal with the paperwork then I would recommend having lawyers.

Why I would recommend Abrams & Krochak is because I liked their assistance and also I thought their legal fees was quite reasonable.

All the best!

Then work, as if everything depends on you!!!
