how much useful is learning French??

dear chris,

i fully agree that speaking practice is must. But each one has his own best way. I am trying to find my own which fits best in my daily routine.

I had seen some IT job postings in Monster.com last year which required the knowledge of French language. Surprise, surprise! Those jobs are still available!

IMO, the best way to learn French is to go and live in a city like Quebec City where english is not spoken widely. When you are hungry, your growling stomach will force all the right French words out of your mouth.
