I am a PR here for 1 and a half year. As my income just got reasonable, I will have to wait 6 more months till I can sponsor my parents and my 22 year old brother who is dependent on my parents for his studies.

My brother doesnt want to wait for immigration as it would take long and wants to come here on student visa.

My question is if he comes here on student visa...showing that parents are funding his studies..........will he still be included in my application of sponsoring my parents. I mean will he be still considered dependent on my parents, though he would be studying here in Canada.

If he cannot be included, then isn't it very tough that he comes here...... garaduates ..... gets work permit...... works and then apply for his own immigration.

What do you suggest? Heis BA Final year and I am thinking of calling him on any skill related course. If he waits for immigration there..... he will do Law there....... but won't he exceed the age limit in a year then. How long can he be considered dependent on my parents?
