Thanks Mr Massood !

The following were attached :

1. Explanation quoting the requirements as laid out in Sponsors Guide related with no proof for minimum financial status was given. This was done to take care of not attaching the 'Option C printout'.

2. A brief statement of activities showing the profile of the company and its existing clients was also attached.Proof of incorporating a business i.e the Business Account summary issued by CCRA was attached.

The case has been despatched today to CPC Mississauga (for onward processing at NEW DELHI) thru Regd Post.

I would appreciate if you can make a guess regarding overall processing time !

8 to 12 weeks for most cases without complicating factors.

Dear Cd's

I am applying for Immigration to Canada.I am marrioed and have a son -6yrs.Now please advise shud I apply for my family along with me or Can I apply for them once I get settled down in canada(which I prefer) But I doubt abt the fee structure and procedure of applying after getting settled down in canada for family.
which one is cost effective way.....

Your spouse and children can be listed as NON-ACCOMPANYING DEPENDANTS. You can sponsor them once in Canada. At present it is taking 2-4 months for straightforward spouse/children sponsorships.

Dear Mr Massood,

I would like to update as follows :

The sponsorship case for my wife has been forwarded to the Visa office in New Delhi as I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

Time line so far :

Case revd by CPC Mississauga : Dec 17 2004
Case taken up on : January 11, 2005
Case forwarded to New Delhi : January 14, 2005

Could you please suggest the next line of action for me ? Should my wife send the PASSPORT to CHC quoting the file number or await some communique from CHC Delhi.
