As per my info there are more than one assessment authorities in Canada for engg. degree assessment.
Which one is best or most preferred or most valid. I need some detailed info on this with your experiences.

Yes and No...

Your engineering degree will be assessed by the CCPE (Canadian council of professional engineers). After that you will have to write the licensing exam for your province (for Ontario it would be the PEO). If however you have a degree from a Canadian accredited school then you do not need an assessment from CCPE and you can directly submit your transcripts and appear for the PEO examination.

Well,
First nd formost if u r interested in applying for PEO licence i think your credentials assessment with CCPE is not going to help you in anyways waste of 175$ becasue PEO has a seperate Educational acessment board.I myself had done an accessment from CCPE about 2 years back when i was in india.The accessment by CCPE will help when a professional is putting up his file for immigration to canada, that can put slighlty weight on an individuals application for immigration otherwise nothing more CCPE credential evaluation will help not even for a job.

I never meant an assessment for P.E.O. as I do not intend to go and work as an engineer.
I am more intersted in getting the degrees assesssed for equivalency.. may be I get a chance of Ph. D. or M. S..
If somebody is doing M.S. or Doctrate then please guide me.
Actually I will have to search for particular topic as I had digressed from enginneering line in India itself.. Industrial/ commercial/liability Insurance.

So RM, what is your background...please state it explicitly.. Only then can I (or others) make a comment as to how they are "equivalent" in Canada

I have master of engineering and I need a canadian paper to show and write in any communication .
