I am a recently landed in Canada.
I need a family doctor.

we were lucky. we had our in laws and we just approached their doctor if he was accepting new patients and he did.

for folks who do not have any family around should look for doctors in their vicinity and approach them to check if their accpeting new patients. many of the walk in clinics can also have doctors visiting regularly who can become your family doctor
